Amphenol’s newest additional to their harsh environment solutions for USB signal is the USB Type A to USB Type C Adaptor. As customers begin to integrate new equipment featuring USB-C ports into their systems, this solution allows them to do so without disassembling an existing USB-A link. Two adaptation options are available to facilitate this integration, depending on which equipment is being utilized as the host and the device. The USB3FTV series receptacle (MIL-DTL-38999 series III) can be mounted on the panel and will protect the system against shock, vibration, leakage and more. Available in a size 15 38999 Series III shell, they offer improved EMI protection.

These adaptors (like their corresponding connectors) are IP68 and come in a variety of RoHS compliant platings.
